Doesn't seem to matter. The US dollar is not really responding, while gold continues to drop.

The strength of the dollar amazes me, something I had not counted on. The trade deficit and US budget deficits and personal and corporate debt just do not resonate with those who count. If this trend continues, gold is in for a rough time I am afraid.

Duh, I should have figured it out. Things are so rosy that people just want to spend, spend, spend. Deficits/Debt is a good thing!
