What trend? The only trend I see is bullshit -- more and more and more. Wherever one looks. As far as the eye can see. A veritable tidal wave of it. Never ending.

IMO, gold has just as much chance to go up as down or sideways or anywhere else. Likewise anything else, for that matter. Why not?

> Things are so rosy that people just want to spend, spend, spend. Deficits/Debt is a good thing!

That's the American dream for you. When you feel good, spend. When you feel bad, spend. When you feel nothing, spend. What the Hell. What's going on is just unbelievable. The US overspent $48 billion last month and that means things are great. Over one and a half billion dollars a day more than they earned. Every day. More than half their debt is owned by foreigners. Someone is in for a big surprise.

Who? You and me! Why? Because next month it will be two billion a day!!
