"Bush should had been honest, before the war, about the true costs, and what could realistically be achieved." He was honest about what he thought the true costs would be. He would not have doomed his own reelection by following what has become a too costly policy for most amercians to support. You predictions are pretty accurate if the situation doesnt turn around in iraq quickly. We are down to the last two lines of defense the CIA supported PM and the tribal leader/President. I am rooting for their success, as unlikely as it seems after the last few days news, and i hope you are as well because your outcome(points 1-4) is not a good one for the USA or in the fight in the WOT. mike
