Jesus Hawk, listen to yourself. Do you think that the motives and actions you attribute to the French and Russians in their Iraq dealings don't apply just as accurately to America in many of our past dealings in the Gulf and in our present dealings in Iraq?

As a second point, why is it that you insist on attacking the motives of those nations who said that America's purported reasons for attacking and occupying Iraq were specious? The fact is that whatever their motives their assertions were accurate and ours reasons WERE specious.

This isn't some high school debate issue; real American soldiers and others are dying every day and they'll continue to die until we get it right. That means that we need to see things clearly, not emotionally. That also means that finding fault with the motives of those who were right doesn't mean they weren't right.
