!Kung and MZ,

>>As far as GERN goes, I think they have a shot at some blockbuster drugs, but it will take them a long time. They should remain high profile for a while. I think it is a good buy under 8 and a great one under 6. M 500 shares to salt away for a few years.<<

I heartily concur w/ Andy on the price points. The analogy that comes to mind is leptin. Think of all the hoopla that came to pass when AMGN licensed leptin, then look at the fact that GERN stock was up as much as 1 3/4 intraday today apparently just b/c CBOE and AMEX are going to list options on the company (a discovery-stage company!). As with leptin, I think we will see that there will be many twists and turns as the telomerase complex is studied and any candidates move into clinicals.

I also must concur with MZ, that we've probably only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of what they know; but I think we'll definitely see better prices before the iceberg is fully revealed.
