I don't know what particular practices you are referring to; but if you are speaking to the old practices of prohibiting women from voting or of disallowing certain persons to have and to hold property...or to any public distinction of rights and freedoms being made solely on the basis of race, colour, or suchlike... No, not those issues. I think it should be illegal for the government to discriminate in that way. I am talking about private sector discrimination. Tim
