"1 - Jesus said that he himself was the son of man, not Elijah."

But that contradicts the bible which says that Elijah went to heaven and that ONLY the SON OF MAN went to heaven.

"2- I said Luke was probably both a witness and divinely inspired. They are not mutually exclusive"

How could Luke be "probably a witness"???

"3- The bible is not silly. We are the silly ones."

The bible is VERY silly.

John 3:13

"13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."

Not only did Elijah ascend to heaven...but Enoch, as well.

"I get a random starting point for my reading"

Hopefully...you will get more than that before the day is done and the tents are all folded...
