Kerry doesn't need McCain to beat Bush. He just needs McCain to end the election before it begins and win in a landslide. Kerry is smart to go after McCain especially since 1) He is among Kerry's best and most trusted friends 2) He wants to be presdient 3) The current GOP has stabbed McCain in the back many times 4) This may be McCain's last chance PS: Cheney lying again in the paper today saying Saddam and Al Qaida were connected. Guess Cheney hasn't been paying attention these past few years, otr else he's just pandering to the far right chickenhawk set.
