"I know there is very little negative sentiment. Why? Because I can measure it objectively!"

You are not looking at all of the indicators.

To remedy this:

1 Go to stockcharts.com
2 set width to 620
3 enter $CPC
4 set chart duration to 5 years
5 set SMA price overlays s to 10 and 20
6 click update chart

and tell me we are not at a point of near record negative sentiment based on this indicator.

How many times do you count the 20 DMA as being over 1.00 in the past 5 years?
How about the 10 DMA?

Times the 10 DMA has been over 1.0

1 Late November 2000
I bought some LRCX at that time and sold it a few months later for a 64% gain!

2 Late November 2002.
Days later the market made a major bottom.
I bought LRCX and UTEK back then in single digits (boy I wish I had the stones to have bought even more!) and later sold some of both at $35 just a bit over a year later! (again, I wish I had sold all my shares in both at $35…but I did sell quite a few. )

3 March 2003. This was a good test of the two market lows in 2002

4 a few weeks ago when I believe the market completed a major low that I’ve been writing about for some time.
I added some stocks with high beta in addition to my usual list of suspects like LRCX and UTEK.

(There is supposed to be a way to plot the SPX over these charts but I have not figured out how to do it.)
