You're probably right, as Intel will try to squeeze two prescott cores on a single die, dam, they have a hard time squeezing a single one without heat problems.

3.6GHz @ 115W and climbing, look for 130W @ 4GHz. Minimum 160W for a dual-core @ 3GHz

Edit: For those prepared to argue Intel has Pentium M too, but it's been said by some Intel PR that the first dual-core is projected to be P4-based, unless such a thing is not realisable.

Meanwhile AMD should easily reach 2x 2GHz @ 104W. It may well be that AMD total MHz reach Intel's
