most times, the average u.s. citizen doesn't
pay any attention to elections until a couple
of weeks before... BUT there's NEVER been as
much at stake (this time it's about the survival
of the country as we know it)... so it's no
surprise that this one's been going on for
three years.

<edit> it's more of a citizen-controlled
impeachment process this time than an election.

we'll sure be glad when it's over.
