Wrong again. While I don't believe you can separate the SOX from the NASDAQ I only disagree with you in that you are assuming the great majority of sentiment is negative. It is not negative. It is overly positive except for the extremely high total put to call readings.

Was TSM a great buy yesterday? YES

Could the market go higher? YES

Is sentiment negative? NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!

Show me one objective measurement of sentiment like the CPC that is overly negative. Is the VIX or the bull to bear survey like they were in 1998?

The VIX is now the VXO but hopefully you are getting my point. You can make money by bucking the trend short term. The trend may even turn but this is not 1998.
