Hi Jay,

Well, you probably have so much capital gains you wouldn't want to sell-but that's less of a problem in HK, right? I can only liquidate in my IRAs and 401k, so it is a bit restrictive. I feel lonely-investing in lonely, eh?

So the tentacles of the nascent Chinese empire expand. I suppose this is appropriate timing based on the evolution of the imperialist ego. They whetted their appetite with Tibet (don't tell me that was hard) so what did they do to win these lands.

I've got to ask you, will these lands become sovereign? Imagine if there were little pieces of China in all these countries. That would be fascinating from the perspective of your globalization business. My only question if what happens when these places want to pull a Taiwan? The Chinese gov't negotiated the land, so they want some economics benefit, I assume.

Sugar from Cuba, metals from Burma, rice from Laos, oil and NG from Kazakstan and tobacco from Zimbabwe. Sounds good for China!
