Steve, Kerry is just miffed that Bush would even consider going after the Catholic vote. I think Kerry feels entitled to that vote, even though some of his social positions go directly against the Vatican, which of course Kerry explains away with the old "separation of church and state" argument.

BTW, it's obvious that Kerry's buttons are being pushed. Or to paraphrase your buddy Yousef, Bush is touching Kerry's "sensitive spots." ;-) This is a major reason why I think Bush will win debates vs. Kerry (#reply-20223790), and why I think Bush will win in November to the amazement of many liberals.

Excuse me......you think its perfectly all right to ask the Pope to support Bush's social agenda. Why don't you just put a cross over the White House and Congress and be done with it?.

And you think Kerry is jealous? My God, can't you elevate just for moment.

And btw, the Pope all but told Bush he was a smuck........so if Bush intended what you suggest, then it backfired badly.

You all can't seem to remember that few like Mr. Bush outside of the red states and OC.
