Laz, The identity of the trusted authority must remain undisclosed for the time being. Said trusted authority also tells me that reservations for that hostelry should be made well in advance.

Another trusted authority (the taxi driver who took me to the station) told me that The Strip is a shameless ripoff, that downtown Las Vegas is where the action is and where people actually win money.
