Indeed, but a very public loon who owns a newspaper should draw some enemies, or at least some rabble rousers. The media used to trumpet his looniness apparently for the sake of letting us know there were loons in high places. He's still a loon and he's still in a high place, it would seem.

Perhaps the insiders have observed that his looniness does not affect the production of the Washington Times so he's contained, thus not news. Or perhaps he's gone around the bend from looniness to mental illness and it's deemed not nice to trumpet mental illness. Who knows...
