Ted, I guess you've forgotten already:

foxnews.com

Kerry, a Catholic, walks into a Baptist church and accuses Bush of having a dead faith. So Bush returns the favor and goes to the Catholic church for support.

Both sides are mixing religion and politics. Is that a violation of the so-called "separation of church and state"? You obviously think so.

No need to tell me that Kerry allegedly knows how to separate his Catholicism from his politics. To me, this is another instance of Kerry wanting it both ways. After all, he's counting on winning the Catholic vote, is he not?

Your first mistake is reading something from Fox News.......they are so biased they make France look neutral on the issue of Iraq.

Secondly, Kerry's point is well taken........Bush wears his religion on his sleeve. Kerry is not mixing politics with religion; instead, as you surmised, he is saying that people can be religious without wearing it on their sleeve. RR Jr. made the same point at his father's funeral.

For some reason, in spite of acknowledging it, you all refuse to get that point and truly understand its implication.

You got your "under God" kept in the pledge.....be happy with that and stop pushing your luck.
