Good points and I agree with you. The long term definitely applies here. I was just trying to bring a sense of reality to the Rambus wannas-be's.
Especially if Teledesic goes as planned in 2001 or 2. The British Telecom (BT) and MCI "Concert" for wireless CDMA is fall'in apart at the seams. All of these ventures lead to microwave technology used in the development for the satellite infrastructure, i.e, Iridium, Concert, Globalstar and Teledesic. There are a few competitors to OrbitFR that might have a thing or two to say about the pieces as they fall into place, as it were. Thanks.
