It sounded like yet another program he wants to fund
by rolling back tax cuts on the $200K/year crowd.

I would love to see exactly how much that would actually yield and
to compare it to each program Kerry has
proposed which would be funded by the roll-back.

I have a suspicion that the math won't work out.

But broad proposals always sound good on the stump<g>

I was intrigued by the reference to stay at home moms, though.
The whole tenor of the proposal had to do
with people who had to work 2-3 jobs just to stay afloat.

If a woman is lucky enough to be able to afford staying
home with her kids, if she is inclined to do so, I question
why working people should subsidize it through programs
designed to take the kids off her hands
while she goes shopping or attends to other personal matters.

While it would be great for anyone, I don't see that as a
taxpayer responsibility.........
