>>>there are many more stocks out there that are finer candidates for scalping...

Well???......<g> <<<

Jeffrey...basically I mean stocks with decent spread ranges. For example, on days with nice volume PRST usually has one at 1/4 to 3/8. Or check out that CYMI today! At one point it had a $1 spread! So, if you buy at the bid and sell at the ask quickly on a larger spread, you will reap more reward from the trade...usually when you scalp a smaller spread, you must make many more trades to pull similar amounts of profit. But then again, small spread usually are found in low-priced stocks so you can hold larger positions...vice-versa. The trick is finding the cheapest price WITH the biggest spread. And huge volume is a must. And if you can't buy large positions, then it probably won't be worthwhile. You can search for these types of candidates with any search program like Telescan.
