They are retired and as such don't have the current Adm's detailed daily intelligence reports. Why would anyone change their vote based on the opinion of retirees old enough to show 1st signs of Alzheimers? I decided long ago that Stansfield Turner was indeed a whiner. Actually, their criticisms of the Pres could display a collective conviction that Bush will remain in power for next 4yrs, therefore, the group of grumpy old men are grabbing an opportunity to relay their suggestions to the WH, without fear that it will endanger Bush's re-election.
