Ten, re: If that's a "neoconservative," well then so is Reagan. I've read that Reagan had a lot of neo's in his cabinet, but that he fought them off. While they wanted to take a harder, militarily confrontational line towards the USSR, Reagan worked with Gorbachev in a "diplomatic" way. And it was successful. re: Personally I think the "neocon" label is all about the first rule of partisan politics, pushed by liberals who are tired of being called ... well, liberals. Neo's call themselves neo conservatives. If it has negative connotations to you, then that's your personal value judgement. What do you want to call them? John
