Chris, Actually, it was just The New Deal's longer term economic strategies that accomplished all those things. <g> Reaganomics was such a failure that even Reagan abandoned it and raised taxes. Fortunately, Bush and Clinton kept up that one piece of good work and got everything fixed, ready for Reagan II-Hoover II Dubya to give it a whack up side the head.
