IMO program trading is designed to steer stocks in the direction of greatest need. If your interested in Buying then stocks go lower, higher if selling. Intent of the program architect is prearranged, ie derivative programs are in place before the program executes, hypotheticly this would ensure the programs executing profitably while in process towards its end goal. Accumulation or distribution.
