AltOneNiner,

You ever do any fly fishing?
(Question open to anyone really.)

I was watching a guy up at the lake do it last weekend.
They were hitting those flies a lot more than they were
chasing my lures.

Years back I had bought a fly fishing rod but seemed to
have trouble snapping the flies off as my fishing line
acted more like a whip rather than the easy rolling motion
of those dudes in the movie "A River Runs Through It".
(My technique needs work...)

I also snagged quite a few trees and butts...

Anyhow, I may try my luck at it again next time I go up to
the lake and find a few hidden streams with hungry trout in em.

I just don't have much of a clue as to what types of flies
to get. Dry? Wet? Beaded? Nymphs? Wooly buggers?

Anybuddy got an idea?
