<Tell that to Sadr.>

Have we arrested Sadr? Have we dismantled his militia? Do we hold the contested ground in the Shiite holy city? Public opionion polls in Iraq show a recent huge increase in support for Sadr, as a direct result of his successfull defiance of the occupation. With each passing month, our mistakes make it less likely we can hand over Iraq to a "moderate" cleric like Sistani, and more likely that a radical like Sadr ends up in charge.

<Tell that to Hussein.>

We are trying our best, to hand over Iraq to the re-incarnated Baath Party (this time under American management). It isn't Hussain who is defeating us.

<Tell that to the new provisional leadership in Iraq.>

You mean the quislings who cower in the fortified American enclaves, and still get assassinated daily?

<Tell that to the 32 million Iraqis waiting to vote in their first democratic election...>

Yes, they are waiting.....and waiting......and waiting..... And just as soon as Iraq is "pacified", and "order is restored", and the results can be properly guaranteed, an election will be held, under the guns of a foreign army of occupation.

<Tell that to the Afghans who now live free of the Taliban.>

And they, too, are still waiting for this mythical freedom, with its mythical elections that recede endlessly into the vague future, when "order is restored". Since, in fact, we have managed to re-create the conditions that led to the rise of the Taliban originally, it shouldn't be surprising than the Taliban are slowly re-conquering Afghanistan (with Pakistani help).

<tell John Kerry>

I'm hoping John Kerry is lying, and doesn't intend on following Bush's failed foreign policies. Kerry is a career politician, and therefore has no fixed principles other than personal ambition, so it should be easy for him to say one thing while running for office, and do the opposite when in office.
