I agree.I have had two propofol anesthesias in the last few months (knee arthroscopies) and have no recollection of any discomfort. The anesthesiologists I know seem satisfied. Maybe there are some patients much more sensitive to the pain, or for whom the oil-based emulsion is problematic for another reason. But this doesn't likely constitute a large group. The case for Aquavan in this competitive environment is murky at best, it does not--so far as I can tell--address a genuine clinical need.
