What it boils down to is an argument over the meaning of "a cooperative relationship between Al-Quaida and the Regime of Saddam". A few years ago the truth or rather the lack-there-of boiled down to the meaning of "IS".

A new phenomenon that requires rational people to question the code speak of spokespersons from the media or from the government. When it depends on how you define the meaning of THE significant word or phrase in an official position of government we should object. We should object on the basis of that obfuscation alone just as we do when something appears to be a cover-up. The cover-up activities have always become a more serious issue than what ever was being hidden.

Peops flying in to attend terrorist training camps in Iraq. High level representatives going to Afganistan to meet with OBL. That meets my definition but probably not yours. Your concern may be more over whether or not Al-Quaida's potency was centralized in Iraq.
