"Mine: “you do not nor does the government have the natural right or the power to force me to serve someone or do anything to another person in a way that violates my conscience.”" We have the power and the right to force you to conform behaviour stemming from your "conscience" to the common good as society sees such to be. Your "conscience" does not and may not justify transgression against the collective "conscience" of the society that allows you the privilege of participation and membership. Nobody forces you to do anything. You are NOT A SLAVE. But your values do not trump the values of society..,.because you are only ONE. And your "conscience" does not trump the conscience of society...because you ARE ONLY ONE. You may think you are a tall drink of water, but you are only the dew on a single frond.
