He likely exists...or existed. But the charge that Saddam gave safe haven to him rings hollow. It's like saying that because Mohammed Atta was in the US that Bush gave safe haven to him. I've seen no proof that al-Zarqawi was asked to come to Iraq or was sheltered by Saddam. Sheltered from what? He could have gone to Iran or Syria or Afghanistan. He a Jordanian and of the tribe that spans from Jordan to Afghanistan. Did he chop off a head? Does he have a Seattle leg? Or is it one of those cheap Vietnamese knockoffs? Lots of questions...few answers. So far the President hasn't gotten anything else right...I have my doubts about al-Zarqawi too. Damn it. I want to believe in my president...guess we'll have to wait till Kerry gets in to be able to do that. Orca
