Where your "conscience" compels you to either action or inaction...society will judge you and respond to you as it sees fit. We DO have both the right and the power...and it WILL be done. Your "conscience" does not trump the collective conscience. Your behaviour will conform to the social mores of our society. Sexism and other forms of prejudice will not be tolerated. If you like you can hit a pillow or scream. Just don't get uppity or we will lock you up. YOU are in SOCIETY. YOU are just a TWIG. DON'T FORGET IT. You do not set the standards for the rest of us. You just contribute your say. Whatever your beliefs {poligamy, abortion, oral sex}...they are yours. But you will behave in accordance with the conscience and the authority of your peers. THAT IS AN ORDER.
