Mary Beth, I know all about trading windows for insiders. He may have indeed needed some quick cash, who knows. The interpretation of insider selling or buying is subjective at best. All I'm saying is that, given the need for this company to 1)raise cash, and 2) increase the value of their stock price, I'd say the CEO excercised a bit of bad judgment selling almost 9% of his holdings at this point in time.
If I had been CEO, I would have collateralized a loan using my vested options or stock holdings, whichever be the case, rather than dumping shares to raise some cash for myself. But again, it's a judgment call, nothing more.
