I know the history of Isreal. The founding fathers of Isreal were more or less terrorists, although they certainly don't play that theme up in the Western media. I hold no illusions myself. They did engage in terrorist acts.

If you think we're currently under attack by "Zionists" for our tepid support of a Palestinian state (I haven't seen any evidence to back up that claim), then that's all the more reason for us to settle that conflict. It just means were subject to more terrorism from both sides as the conflict rages on.
