Everyone who is going to be influenced by this "logic" has already been influenced and is already on board. So the folks who recycle this message must just love to hear themselves talk. Or maybe they think if they rant about motive enough we'll all forget about the salience of means and opportunity.

I try hard to ignore these rewrites (or perhaps they're clones given the sameness of them) but enough is enough. Please, please, please folks, come up with something fresh. These unimodal scare stories should be relegated to Boy Scout campfires forthwith.

End of rant. That piece just set off my last raw nerve. Thanks for indulging me.
