the old, "its not that bad" argument again. The bottom line is we had a great economic expansion under clinton, a booming stock market, wage increases, NO inflation, surpluses and all was well and now a few years into Bush, this "recovery" <wink wink> has us with wage depression, skyhigh deficits and inflation and a 70s-ish stock market.

Bush isn't that bad? Compared to Carter maybe not. Compared to Clinton? NO COMPARISON.

Bush is going down though on a number of issues and then he should just slither away like Carter did for 20 years until people forgive him for being a loser.
