Seriously, though, I would imagine that college professors are brighter than the average person, more informed, better read...and gee...on balance they happen to be more liberal thinkers. What a surprise. (With apologies to Andrew) Perhaps most college professors are brighter than the average person... However, there is a world full of folks, who with age, increase their mental capacities, become street smart, graduate from the school of hard knocks and eventually encounter a thing called reality. And those professors continue to think liberally and think liberally and... No surprise there.
