SHOULD the law allow people selling goods and services to Jews, Christians, women, or anyone else be sanctioned to arbitrarily allow them to refuse the aforementioned {or any others} service

Yes.

"I doubt he would. I know I wouldn't want to be treated that way for similar reasons"

EXACTLY.

I wouldn't wan't to be treated that way. But other people generally are not under an affirmitive legal obligation to cater to what I want.

And how can society respect human rights and freedoms of religion and such...and,as well, promote the idea of rights to property and safety and life itself without laws which prevent the vicious discrimination and forcible impoverishment of distinct groups of people??

Society can respect anything it wants without making a law about it. Esp. when such laws themselves show a lack of respect of human rights and freedoms.

Don't be ridiculous. We are in this world together. You don't let a Jew stand 11 minutes at the checkout to buy an apple and then tell her to go to Hell because you don't sell apples to Jews. If I cannot deny you the right to sell {and thus earn a living}, then you ought not be allowed to deny me the right to buy {and thus preserve my life}.

I should not be able to deny you the right to buy, but I should not be required to sell to you. If I attempted to prevent other people who wanted to sell to you from doing so then I would be violating both your rights and the rights of the prospective sellers.
