Besides earning its first profit it is very interesting that ENVG has finally have gotten analyst coverage!!! According to I/B/E/S ENVG is estimated to earn .03 for the third quarter 1997 .09 for 1997 and .18 for 1998. It is a shame that this stock isn't considered a biotech rather than an enviromental company or we would be in the high single digits by now. Personally, I don't know how they are going to make .03 next quarter I think the estimate seems a little high. ENVGs recent purchase of Fluid Handling was going to help their results but dilute the company's shares. Fluid's revenues were trending down and the deadline of the required state clean up in Wisconsin was I believe only five more years. I can only hope the purchase produced economies of scale greater than I anticipate and it will help promote ENVGs seperate product line. I still own 2000 shares of ENVG purchased in the mid 3s a year ago, but I am not very proud of the fact that I am watching paint dry. The stock is at its lows yet it is doing what I have anticipated fundamentally(make money). Although the volume has risen recently the stock price hasn't followed suit. I hate to commit more money here because there are other good buys, there are portfolio risk reasons and I keep a portion free for short term trading opportunities but, adding to my position is compelling because this one is defintiely due.
