I suggested that he was using the same technique he was criticizing the opposition for using-- Horowitz was writing an opinion column. The Times, et al, were supposed to be reporting the news. I don't remember seeing the Times be quite so overt as they were yesterday in running a deliberately incorrect "analysis" piece as their front page lead. Plus tieing it in to their lead editorial. The problem is that the rest of the media follows their lead, and uses them as an excuse if called on it.
