Comcast buying Sprint makes more sense to me than them going after a big entertainment company like they did earlier this year. Was it Disney? That was silly.
Anyway, why not? The IEC's are struggling, (particularly on the voice side of things). Cable has the local access. IEC's have the data backbone. Seems like a good marriage in order to deliever end to end VoIP...
What do you think? Toss in WiFi and a nationwide cellular provider (Nextel?)... then RBOC's will feel some heat :-)
