In the old days, US boys used to volunteer to go into meat-grinders. These days we use smart bombs. Maybe Tillman was an old-fashioned guy. Afghanistan was a just war move for us. The problems started in Iraq. If you rent "the Fog Of War" and watch McNamara explain everything, it's just Vietnam II but on a smaller scale. Bushies believe their own misconceptions, then cover up for political reasons rather than admitting mistakes and correcting them. This is also true with their tax cuts and big spending. They need to change. But they won't. So hello President Kerry.
