The description on the web site of the Ovonyx Corporation
provides a good overview of Tyler Lowry and Ward Parkinson's
background with Micron Technology. They both brought immense technical and management capabilities to the company. That's what led me to believe there may be some tie in somewhere down the road with Joe Parkinson. Oh well, this is merely some speculation on my part.

On another note. All major technical publications, along with George Gilder and publications such as Forbes, Fortune, Businessweek,WSJ, among many others are touting "nanotechnology" as being the next big wave in technology. The noise is getting louder. I wonder why ECD hasn't picked up on this as yet. ECD Ovonics, on their web site provides a broad overview of the company by stating "ECD Ovonics is based on the twin pillars of energy and information. The pillars are composed of our atomically engineered materials. We invent the materials, the products, and the production technology."
Would not "atomically engineered materials" be considered as nanotechnology? Is this potentially yet another classic
example of Stan being way ahead of his time in the marketplace with the market finally starting to catch up with his advanced technologies?
Back during the dot.com craze company after company tried
to incorporate the term dot.com in to their name or company description to capitalize on the craze.

What do you think?
