This administration's equivocality towards the Geneva Conventions This is a really weak argument. There was no confusion amongst our military as to whether the Geneva Conventions were to be followed. This is something that all soldiers know and there is no question about. While it is convenient for the Left to make the case, the reality is that what went wrong was at the lowest levels of the military. Those soldiers KNEW what they were doing is wrong, and had an OBLIGATION NOT to do it. Let's be honest, this isn't My Lai. if it's not a "scandal" now, it will be. One day you may come to see that 99% of scandals, particularly against the Right, are political affairs, with the other 1% being legitimate complaints. SOMEONE at the White House leaked it... Perhaps. We'll see. But there is still siginficant doubt as to whether Plame was a covert operator within the meaning of the term. The point is, we've seen a couple of alleged transgressions, but there really is no "there there". The administration is indisputably the cleanest we've seen since Carter, and that is something.
