ANYONE know whatever happened in this matter?

Tim Luke Stefanich v. Barbara Simon, Pristine.com, SiliconInvestor.com and John Does, Case No. CV01-5400 DT (C.D. Cal., complaint filed Jun. 19, 2001).

Message Board Argument Among Investors Grows Nasty; Results in Suit Against Parties Including SiliconInvestor.com

It seems that another argument among online investors again has grown to epic proportions and has erupted in a lawsuit that, oddly, names SiliconInvestor.com, among others, as a defendant. According to papers filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California on June 19, 2001, Tim Luke Stefanich has filed a complaint alleging libel per se against Barbara Simon, Pristine.com, SiliconInvestor.com and various unidentified John Doe defendants. The papers allege, in substance, that Barbara Simon has been posting what Stefanich describes as "false" messages on online message boards saying that plaintiff, a day-trader, is a "pump and dumper" and a "bankrupt online investor". The plaintiff is represented by David Robinson of Robinson & Schmidt. The claims against Pristine.com and SiliconInvestor.com, of course, do not have even the most remote chance of success given the good Samaritan provisions of the Communications Decency Act of 1996.
