Does anyone have a better [HCB book] recommendation?

Your recommendations are excellent!

If one is willing to spend $50 or so for a used one, my favorite book of all time is called "Henri Cartier-Bresson: Photographer"

thamesandhudson.com

Out of print but available. It's nicely large and perfectly printed. All of the writing is at the beginning of the book, then each image is presented on the right side of the page; the left page left blank, with only a page number. The back of the book contains the four w's of each image: who, what, where, and when. The how is up to us to figure out. (g)

I simply adore this book. I've looked through it countless times. It's the one I used as a textbook, viewing each image through the viewfinder of my first Leica M camera, the kind HCB used to make his masterpieces.

Well worth the money because it's simply priceless.
