Logan, III, President and CEO of Nematron, said, ``The last quarter marked a major turning point for Nematron Corporation with the release of additional software products like OpenControl, a new version of Hyperkernel, and Paragon. I feel that we are close to securing a major project at a large Fortune 100 corporation that uses all of these software components in a fully integrated architecture. We have worked hard to gain this contract, which is expected in the near future, and current period results have been negatively impacted due to related expenses. In a similar manner, the acquisitions of Intec and VTS, the closing of unprofitable Netherlands facility, the refinancing of expensive debt and the significant product development activities have hurt short-term results. I am confident, however, that these bold and necessary actions will provide significant benefits to our shareholders in future periods.
