Master and Commander: Superb; musical score outrageously good....no big blasting sounds; rather the best of world beat with the best of L.Boccherini!!! what a combo! and then, of course, there was the southern Atlantic. Love Actually: How did this thing get on the screen? Diabetics, beware. Tape: with Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurmin....reminiscent of, believe it or not, Eugene O'Neil. Hawke was spooky. Nowhere in Africa: Good history, good geography: solid story with solid cast. In German. Below: Good sub spooker. Excellent actors. Submarine interior reminded me of the interior of the 1st Alien spacecraft. Not coincidental, I think.
