Sonny,u forgot - it's not economy/bonds nor goldi_uck, it's friday! you forgot the friday factor. I always have money. Since i am always evaluating my current companies and if i find a great bargain i dump something for something else. Especially in my ira where i am not concerned about taxes. amgn = has only 2 or 3 products in pipeline when that fails they fall. I dumped amgn lastyear. But now it's so looow. But future is also bleak and earning on down hill. Sort of reminds me of intel in trouble but ofcourse nothing like the quality of intel. pe =19 erning growth=19. stock @bottm like asnd. sbh=smithKlineB. I was thinking of MDT but found it too expensive. Pe of 39 growth rate is much less like 18-24?. i was thinking J NJ or MDT ... i found JNJ to be expensive but a lot safer pe of 25? and growh was like 14? MDT must be a young company? They don't have leaps. Usually they don't have leaps for a company I wonder why ? Just yesterday my boss( u know the one), was telling me to look into a company that might be providing medical equipment for quadruplijik(spl?) then this morning i saw MDT's brand new instrument and i started stuyding it. Well, unfortuantely i remebered I had to go to work and then rest is history - forgot mdt. last but not the least do some investigation as to which company sun is trying to buy. on yahoo it said sun is buying somehting...I have a feeling qurter is already in the bag, the ceo is so confident. I really think he would make a lousy poker player. Shows in his smile. Same w.Dell ...I can just see him smiling under his breath where he is warning that these kind of growth can not continue. Only Bill Gates does this well.
