Of course, at some point "reason" will prevail... After all, even in fascistic Europe and Nazi Germany, "reason" overcame eventually --after the WWII bloodshed.

Keep in mind that human affairs are not "reasonable" and History is not quantum physics --mankind is essentially an irrational system, otherwise the world wouldn't be afflicted by so much misery and plight....
