Bring on the Bums, too.
I still haven't totally morphed my 25 years as a Dodger fan into total Giant think. I can't work up the hate for LA that I could for Mays,Cepeda, Marichal,Alvin Dark, the Giants ground crew, Russ Hodges, etc. Must have to do with declining testosterone in my aged brain rage center.
Good game last night. Another intentional walk for Bonds. He's gonna break his own record before the all-star game. I think he is already around 52; Piazza and another are next with 10. Alfonso is getting hot behind him, so that should help.
Most unusual side action going on this game. A gull was trying to fly off with a ball from McCovey Cove. Must have been from batting practice or something, cuz nobody hit the water last night. Then, there was this...
"After the walk, a fan threw an orange rubber chicken onto the field in the home-plate dirt. Bonds didn't see it happen and strolled to first, then got sent back for one more ball because of the interference.

The chickens, nicknamed ``Walk'er,'' are a new promotion and fund-raiser aimed at protesting all the intentional walks to the six-time NL MVP. They began being sold for $10 Monday night".

Schmidt's one hitter against you was his second of the season.
